3 Types of Fear

 

Goals are important but not enough. You must identify the hidden weight that is keeping you down. I believe fear is a hidden epidemic, robbing people of achieving their full potential. 


Understanding your mental roadblocks is a critical element of self-reflection. Without this understanding, you could find yourself walking around with massive blind spots. 


I’ve found these hidden roadblocks fall into 3 categories:

  • False Identity

  • Fear

  • Weak Goals


False identity looks like…

Response to “who are you” answered with a narrow lens of job occupation, role in the home, role on the team.


Fear looks like…

Playing small personally and professionally with external success masking internal fear of making mistakes.


Weak goals look like...

Taking action without alignment on a holistic endpoint and lopsided professional goals putting health and family at risk.
