Take For Granted
“take for granted”
Fail to properly appreciate (someone or something), especially as a result of overfamiliarity (From Oxford Languages)
Recently I’ve been reminded that facts/truths I believe to be universal truths are skewed by my background, experiences, and passions.
Over the past year I’ve stopped in my tracks with two questions:
Who is Tony Robbins?
What is compound interest?
With my passion for personal development and finance background, these 2 topics are something that I took for granted. These questions allowed me to slow down and carve out time to transfer knowledge to people who are just starting their own journey on the subjects.
What you know & can share with others is more valuable than you realize.
Who needs your information & insights this week?
What is your biggest challenge right now? I’d love to hear more about where YOU are at in 2021. There is still time to grab one of the limited time slots & schedule a virtual coffee chat with me at https://calendly.com/catalystignite/coffeechat.
Most of the conversations I’ve had recently revolve around 3 themes: Reducing overwhelm & burnout, getting traction on ideas outside of day-to-day corporate job, and finding a different role within corporate.
Where do you land?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
