Fulfillment Equation

My personal equation for fulfillment is  Action x Purpose = Fulfillment

Being in action towards a purpose.

What is “purpose” anyway? I define purpose within my M.R.I framework which is a core foundation of the Catalyst Masterclass. Purpose is best thought of a goal bigger than yourself. A proverbial mountain to climb that takes daily dedication to make progress.

M = Mission

R = Relationships

I = Income

Most people only set goals around income or career. This is understandable because the typical work environment provides structure resembling our Industrial Age educational construc and designed to create the external pressure to stay focused each and every day… on work goals.

Setting lopsided goals around income will leave you a hollow and miserable person down the road. Trust me… I’ve walked that path and seen over the cliff. 

Don’t let corporate goals become your personal goals. Have the courage and focus to set goals around your greater mission and relationships. Work on these goals as hard as you work on your corporate goals.
