Lessons For Your Kids

What lessons are you leaving for your kiddos?

I’m not talking about the lessons you WANT to leave. But rather the lessons you are leaving each day by your ACTIONS.

Have you thought about this recently? Or does thoughtful contemplation take a back seat to selfish ambition at work with a proprietary blend of social media scrolling and binge-watching episodes for the perfect mix of disconnected and unfulfilled?

Think about your kids entering college or the workplace.

(Deep breath)

What life lessons would you want them to know? What operating principles for success would you download with them to shortcuts pitfalls you learned the hard way.

What values are important?

Do your actions portray that burnout is an okay trade-off for financial achievement? Do you tolerate that it’s okay to sacrifice health and relationships in order to climb the corporate ladder?

Queue the awkward silence….

Will you have the courage to change the trajectory of your life?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
